Since she’s doing some hard work for the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art big spring exhibition, “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy,” (starting May 7) and sponsored by Italian designer Giorgio Armani, it was only natural that the May edition of Vogue Magazine features some supershoots.

Beginning with the cover, the May issue of Vogue is a on a Superhero spree. Coco Rocha does Poison Ivy with a Nina Ricci Swarovski embellished dress custom made for Vogue,

I’m really curious about this exhibition. Since Wintour’s involvement is pretty important, “there will be blood”. The Museum will only feature American inspired superheroes (I wonder if they’ll do the man and women suits as this photo shoot by Craig McDean lets us see or they’ll just stick to the legendary truth).

the catwoman one is FIERCE! and I mean that in the ‘tyra banks’ way.
all these creations have the most fantastic shape! from the silver surfer to the little mermaids pointy shell bra, there’s quite a few futurist looks hay?

gosh, the pointy shell bra is just SO pointy! i wouldnt want to go hugging coco if she was wearing that. its hazardous.
