I like my clothes roomy and comfy. And because of that, I tend to wear my clothes a size, two, even three sizes up.
Looking at this fire red trench coat, I feel there’s a world of good in wearing your clothes few sizes up! Adding the belt was a brilliant idea! Bonus the animal print French beret? It all comes down to “perfection, baby, perrrrrfection!”. What say you? (do you wear your clothes a size up? Have you ever considered that?) (photo via)

I really love this look!
Kpriss, I partly agree on the “one. two sizes up comfy look”. Not for all pieces but for a coat like this, my home wear(!!), certain jeans and tops: I’m with you. :)
Wow! I was wearing something really similar yesterday!
I wear one size up jumpers-t-shirts as a dress, I’ve got an S (XS in the USA) but I share clothes with my mum so belts are my best friends.
It is and can be a cute look but really it depends on one’s silhouette. I would say that this look works best on slender women but not too tiny.
Ellington you have a point (like always)! I got carried away and forgot to mention the silhouette detail. Which was pretty important…
s. that is such a coincidence! you know a while back I was writing about Alexander Wang’s t-shirt dress? and just two weeks after writing that down, I came across a very similar tee in the men’s section of some department store? and I thought if I got that two sizes up, it would be like having the T-dress? I never got it, though…
Ellington, so this look is great for Kpriss and me! :))
Since I saw this picture I mourn a coat like that in a gorgeous orange/brown autumn colour I’ve brought to charity like 10 years ago. It was still in perfect shape……Oh, well I’ve still the pattern. That’s the good part! :)
