JLo’s Louboutins, The Christian Louboutin Paola 100 Ankle Boots

Some of you might be already familiar with J-Lo’s new single: Louboutins. And not such much because of the extraordinary musical attributes of the new Lopez release but because she fell on the AMA stage performing it.

I did not joined the ranks of those who wrote about that misstep (it can really happen to anyone!), however I can write about the new single cover for Jennifer Lopez Louboutins track. Have you seen it? It features the new lacey Christian Louboutin Paola 100 ankle boots! (the story continues right after the jump with more images! you can see the AMAs performance here)

Yes, that’s it! Now when I heard about this new single, I was convinced it was a joke. A prank pulled by someone who wrote somewhere something about JLo’s new album and freely speculated and tribulated about what should be about. You may (or may not) remember, but JLo singing about putting her Louboutins following a breaking up is a long way from JLo rambling about how she don’t need no rocks and costly cars and so forth and how her Love Don’t Cost A Thing.

Things change, don’t they? Especially when you have Louboutins! So what’s the new single from JLo about? The title would tell you that’s all about shoes, ha? Nope, no it’s not! It’s about breaking up. (isn’t it always with her?) And instantly following a breakup, ladies, it’s not the common shopping spree or the dye-your-hair therapy we were use to! No! We’re now living the age of the Louboutins! And you know what the funny thing is? People haven’t heard about Louboutins. Not everywhere. Not everyone. So who are you targeting, JLo? I much rather have you in a “my love don’t cost a thing” version than in a grueling multi million working mother who’s caught in a SATC phase of her life and she’s preaching the high heels culture.

Oh, and also: don’t you think it’s a sign that you fell on stage while performing an ode to a shoes brand foremost known for skyscraping heels? Hmmm (photos via 1, 2)

I can only handle Jlo in small amounts. I like those boots they are funky.
I was hoping that she would write an ode to Crocs actually. ;)

yeah, let’s cross our fingers for that!

JLo is more of a businesswoman to my eyes. But her Louboutins single should have been named Converse. Better, even! change the lyrics to: put on your Converse and run, girl! That’s more like a breakup, right?

Haha, I believe Mr. Louboutin is inspired by JLo’s behind since he called himself “an ass-man”. No, ladies, don’t look surprised, don’t moderate me: sources are Style.com and The Cut. :D

I’ve never ever heard that single and I’ve often the radio on?
I’ve a bit enough of Louboutins. They don’t impress me anymore. Just as Blahniks? What’s happen to him? They are for celebs. There are so many great -more affordable- footwear brands around. Ahh, what the Spaniards can do with leather? No, not the Italians, the Spaniards…..*swoons*….

And where on earth did she get this skinny silhouette? Is she trying to look like her Louboutins’ heels?
