Since their first issue with controversially undressed and supersized Beth Ditto on the cover, Love magazine has become a aspirant voice to a relevant and significant aesthetic from a sea of magazines!
The long speculated and highly anticipated Issue Two has officially unveiled its covers. For yes, two covers are available for the second issue of Love Magazine, a New Blood issue, celebrating the Young and the Reckless. Alphabetically: Alex Hartley (18, Guitar Teacher and Bass Player from Birmingham) and Coco Sumner (18, musician daughter of Sting). (the story continues right after the jump!)
Coming from someone who doesn’t have nor does she want any children (“It’s a bit like going to India — I can’t ever imagine myself going. I just never wanted to have kids. It’s just one of those things, some women just don’t.”), it’s understandable that Katie Grand (Love’s editor) went for random and average/pedigree chosen subjects to portray in Love’s Issue Two. This Young Blood issue could prove to be just a difficult to digest heretic salad of young musicians (from Miley Cyrus to Alex, an Internet-found bass player who even made the cover?) (via 1, 2, 3)
