Marc Jacobs And Louis Vuitton’s 2009 Bunny Ears Story Ft Madonna

There’s something strange about Marc Jacobs’ design ways! (almost) Everything he touches turns into golden sand castle. But rest assured, there’s no sand castle, be it gold, that’ll hold up to the next season’s sea of trends! So we should be safe from this rabbit-ears infection next year (and, maybe, this year’s LV ad-solarization wouldn’t hit next year’s Ad Campaign also)

Yes, he invents the wheel with every passing season, but it’s not a life-lasting wheel, unfortunately. Marc Jacobs is a prisoner of trends. Trendier he gets, the easier it would be for his followers to get over him.

He goes so well with Juergen Teller’s photo style, it would’ve been impossible not to pair them up: it shines so much and it’s so weirdly catching your attention, you can’t overlook it. (have you noticed that the LV Fall 2009 Ad Campaign looks bizarrely Teller-ish positioned even if its photographer it’s Meisel?) But once you turn the page, Juergen Teller’s photo is long gone from your visual memory! Now let’s give it to Marc Jacobs himself explaining the hows and the whys of Bunny Ears 2009! (and to her Madgesty to do the precious like nobody’s business!) (via)

Did anyone notice Madge can hardly walk/move in that boots? And what are they really talking about?
Marc Jacobs, that’s interesting Kpriss, shall he be remembered once as the King of Trends?
I saw a documentary about Christian Dior. I’ve recorded the programme, I’ve my books too of course because the master never fails to bore me. Next to this it’s such a high form of ART!
So impressive after all these years…..

Those behind-the-scenes histoires de mode are truly interesting! I love them all! I just wish I had the time to see them (all)! So if you have the chance, don’t hesitate, I’m sure it will be worth your while!

As for this video, its fashion value simply pales in comparison with the gossip-ish dimension given by Madonna! Haven’t you heard her say “All dressed up and nowhere to go… What else is new?” somewhere along the video-way? Why would any fashion consumer care about Madonna’s personal life? She’s a walking, breathing muscle mass of scandal anyway! (oh yes, and that wise-y confession “You know what the best part of wearing heels is? When you take them off” or something like that. What else is new?)

Speaking about behind-the-scenes histoires de mode: tomorrow, Sunday evening Viktor&Rolf are for three hours, yes, three hours as guest in a summer talk show on Dutch national tv so no commercial break either. It’s every summer since years and only really interesting persons appears on that show. I can’t wait for this one. Because in fact Viktor&Rolf have always worked in Paris never here in their home country. Yes, they did some shows, showed up for prices etc. Although their headquarters are here. They are a kind of mystery to us as well. I’m soooooooooo curious and exited about this!
Junkie XL a.k.a. Tom Holkenborg was last year my fave and those three hours were over before I’d noticed it. He lives in Venice in the US now and he told so many interesting thing about the differences between your’s and mind country but according to Tom, Venice comes close with the atmosphere there to our country. He also said that in the US his friends didn’t understand how we, or some of us Dutch, are able to watch such a long show that this isn’t possible in the US. Even not without commercial breaks. Easy enough when people are really interesting.
I’ll let you know, if you like, when Viktor&Rolf tells something we do not know about. Oh, the guests can also choose a movie that’s broadcast after the talk show, their choice was James Ivory’s “Maurice”, lol not really a surprise, great movie though.
I’m gonna skip the Formula 1 for this otherwise I’ve to watch 9 hours tv tomorrow!! Noooooooo…..
Yeah, I quit now to going to feast my eyes to the great looks of the males in the supermarket.
