Natalia Vodianova Covers Vogue Russia June 2009

When I saw Madonna proudly wearing that madhat-headpiece from Louis Vuitton at the Met Gala this year, I thought it was just her crazy way to thank the brand for extending her spokesface contract for fall (by wearing one of their most atrocious designs).

I was wrong, apparently! Vogue Russia, my next big Vogue – thing, features Natalia Vodianova for their June 2009 issue. All good. Except she’s wearing that crazy-rabbitsy head piece Madonna was wearing for the Met gala just the other day! And more – everything’s pink! The layout, the headpiece, Natalia’s outfit-bra…Pink! And that head piece! Why? I really love a good head band, but this is more than I could really imagine! (photo via)

They just want something “big” on her head. I like the concept of head band, but why is that thing?

I dislike everything -except Natalia herself- on that look. I’ve the feeling the stylist was a bit confused….

I was wondering.. what would happen if I would try to drive around in my car wearing that? (for one I think it would mod def not fit in my car, as I am tall myself and don’t appreciate lowering my seat…) or by all means, ride a bicycle around town with that on my head?

……and you’ve to peddle against the wind? Or the wind in the back? Can you see a thing then?
