Cara Delevingne Future Plans: From H&M To Hollywood?

A while back, our ever present paparazzi released a disturbing image of fashion’s sweetheart of the moment, Cara Delevingne, dropping a wee plastic sachet containing a small amount of white powder… Fashion is no stranger to the powder-scandals (Kate Moss knows better) but the audience’s sensitivity to this matter is so acute that H&M decided to drop Cara from all her contractual engagements with the Swedish Fashion retailer.

Pretty much the same scenario was applied to Kate Moss back in her crack days when she took some time off to swipe off her ‘dusted’ image. Luckily, she had some pretty influential and loyal friends (McQueen was one of them but also Rimmel kept her under contract, waiting for cleaner days) and she got back stronger than ever. Will that happen to Cara? Or….

Cara’s plan B will work better for her? Rumors about a possible movie role in which she was cast started surfacing the last couple of days. And what role might Cara be playing? a young, troubled, party crashing Londoner. Sounds made to measure, huh? If this proves to be true, then we’ll all know that the road to Hollywood is paved with white powder!

Kate used coc*ine not the ‘poor-mans-drug’ cr*ck.
Likely this won’t harm Cara’s career one bit since many in the fashion world plus the buyers of these expensive labels use coc*ine. Cr*ck? I think not as long as they have a nice bank account.

With a healthy life style coc*ine and even hero!n are less worse than too much alcohol. Fact. Not that I recommend doing coc*ine!! Let that be clear.

You forgot to censor yourself in your own piece……{rollseyes}

Cara had a part yet in Anna Karenina (2012). That was way before the “white-powder-incident”.
I forgot to mention that.

lolz
Right she did. Much like so many other models whose parts in major movies stretch on 2 minutes on-screen time. An eternity for fashion connaisseurs but equal to nada for the general audience. Each and every time I fell oh-so-disappointed that I ended up zeroing my expectations to increase the surprise value of our beloved models movie roles…

Doutzen Kroes was somewhat longer on screen than 2 minutes in Nova Zembla (Dutch movie). It was hilarious. People even laughed out loud. Men loved the view of her mommy cleavage a lot and I can’t blame them. That’s all there’s to say about Doutzen and her ‘acting’ skills.

Cara will probably be the master of her own demise as she courts and delights in media attention. This endless pulling of faces and crossed-eyes screams indulged 14 year old private boarding school girl. She’s already over-exposed.
That white powder episode was obviously made up. If she couldnt make that looks real I suspect her acting skills are below mediocre.

Kpriss, your article has been edit. Obviously! Please remove my comments. Thank you.

Appollonia can I still keep them? <3

ana - it's an interesting perspective: you think it was all but powder and flashes? Nothing real? ummm... just to raise her to a superior level of hellraiser fame? Ugh, that's so disappointing!

Kpriss: Yes, absolutely fake, PR movement trying to put her in the scale of Kate Moss drug scandal.
I’m old enough to remember when Jodie Kidd was the ‘next Kate Moss’, and guess what? She wasn’t.

Kpriss, I have a problem with my two first comments. They are based on what you wrote and then its edit this in that piece. What’s the problem you were wrong? That happens. Now I feel like a fool. Usually I do not care what people might think. But now I do. You can keep them if you like. If you don’t edit this one. ;) :*

Ana, I am also old enough to remember drug-head Jodie. She was frightening thin at the time.
There have been many ‘next-Kate-Moss-models’. There’s still only one. I love the woman she has become. Careless what she looks like on paparazzi photos. After all why should she care about the airbrush, photoshop and other hoopla? Everything else, every other model gets the same treatment in fashion. And her natural look is definitely a reason why people still love The Moss besides she knows how to model. She’s one of the best ever.

Cara is the new face for La Perla for crying out loud!! I love their lingerie.

Yes, Kate is unique. And there is the secret of her longevity. I am tired of the “next whoever”.
Lots of girls made very well in the business without being a shadow of a previous famous one. Gemma Ward, Lilly Cole, Stella Tennant to say a few.

Exactly!
Further I hate it that some new black models are being called the ‘new Naomi’. Another one with longevity. Despite her many issues still a great model. I saw a photo of her on W’s website. So chic and breathtaking beautiful.
I sincerely hope Kate, Naomi and a some other girls as well shall continue to model. I am sick of all these ‘children’.
