Every now and then, a wonderful exhibition related with the fashion world happens at one of the world’s most notable museums. Last year, the British Victoria & Albert Museum hosted a very impressive, tasteful display of fashion gowns ‘Ballgowns – British Glamour Since 1950’. For the lucky ones who were able to visit the amazing collection, this particular piece of news might bring back great memories.
A special limited edition collection in homage to the said exhibition (and in collaboration with the V&A museum) was modeled by Suki Waterhouse and made available through Coast.
Working closely together, the two parties collided in an exquisite collection of ballgowns sourced from hundred of vintage dresses from the museum’s fabulous collection, stretching far beyond the times&fashions horizons into a limitless, trend-less zone of infinite glamour and eternal grace.
History and art seamed together with utmost care and attention in a five piece-collection that’s selling out fast. As they cover a multitude of special occasions to wear to, I’m sure that these magical gowns will most certainly make many lucky ladies happy, all in looking exquisite and refined!
Now about the model: 20yo Suki Waterhouse is one of those young British it-girls who became the flavor of the season this year. Being friends with the likes of Cara Delevingne and Georgia May Jagger has its obvious advantages, besides attending the coolest parties in town. Latest in Suki’s portfolio: a handful of tabloid pages all trying to capture the most and the best of her relationship with Bradley Cooper. Will both her fashion career and her relationship stand the test of time? I hardly doubt it. But at least she got to model this amazing collection of ballgowns…
