You asked me what mom-hair was. I thought I’d better show you the mom-hair rather than just talk about it, describing this or that cut. The ‘soccer mom hair’, as it was originally labeled by some hair stylists and compared to the haircut made popular by the entertainment mogul, Martha Stewart.
So when you think (soccer) mom hair, think of a medium haircut, right above the shoulders, layered and usually framing the face, with or without bangs. Straight, wavy or curly, the mom haircut is no more than a comfy haircut.
Low maintenance, chic, flattery and versatile, here’s the mom hair on yet another Vogue cover: Milou Van Groesen in Vogue Netherlands April 2013.
Photographed by Alique and styled by Mila Obando with this infamous mom hair styled by Ilham Mestour and makeup by Kathinka Gernant, the cover story pictorial revolves around plastic and it’s actually called ‘Plastic Touch’.
I’m sure you noticed on the Spring Summer 2013 catwalk that many key accessories were molded in transparent plastic, so it’s a justified pictorial, centered on one of the most fashionable materials used for this summer’s fashion. And on one of the most wearable&chic haircuts for this summer and more. (is it not?)
Ha, this one! I have congratulate Vogue Nederland with their one year anniversary. They did a good job. But it’s about time they’re gonna represent the Netherlands as we have become, a multi cultural country which I like to see represent on the cover of Dutch Vogue.
On April 30 the new King’s wife is a Argentian born girl who shall be called Queen. (Still can not imagine Queen Bee is going to leave….the closer we get to April 30…..)
I’m waiting for a reply from Dutch Vogue, I hope they’re going to reply and people support me. Let’s take a hopeful peek at Facebook….:)
wow! fingers crossed then! They should listen to the wise words of one of theirs ;) . Especially since they showed so much pride in bringing the Netherlands beauty in the pages of such an iconic magazine!
So Argentine is taking over the world, huh? One leader at the time ;)
It’s a conspiracy ;)
Since I know singer Anouk is in this issue photographed by Erwin Olaf I will purchase this issue.
