Black and white seems to be a trend lately: here’s Gerard Butler covering Vogue’s L’Uomo Vogue January 2013 all suited up and frowned as photographed by Tom Munro in a Giorgio Armani tux going loose.
In black and white, biensur. I know it’s a redundant, rhetorical question, but isn’t it unfair to see how women’s faces keep being smoothened cover after cover while the men keep getting rough – er with every pictorial? Look at Gerard Butler here: all frowned, unshaved? Show me one single woman who would’ve posed like this and made it on the cover of a high profile magazine! (ok, minus the shaving part, I know – but frowning and all) tsss.. I think fashion people want to mess with our beauty priorities!
