The absolutely exquisite, unearthly beautiful Zoe Saldana covers the Russian edition of Harper’s Bazaar, the July / August 2011 issue. Photographed by Katie Bleacher and Dean Everard, Zoe’s cover and associated inside pictorial, as styled by Natalia Alaverdian, though a bit non – summery, will make your heart skip a beat!
I wish I could read Russian right now? Oh well, I guess I’ll settle with just staring at Zoe. How about you? (don’t miss the rest of the images right after the jump! Click here for the gallery!) (HB via)

Zoe is lovely and I do love her photos! I wish this was the US version of Harper’s B! : )
I actually couldn’t believe it wasn’t a reprint! It’s a gorgeous pictorial, it should have appeared in (at least one) other edition of HB!
Really great pictorial. In my country we have so many people of colour and different ethnics via emigrants but still always these same looking girls in magazines and the entertainment industry on television, all the same blondes….Which is beyond odd for a country with so much colonialism in their history. Blehhhhh…..
Yes the lack of diversity in the magazines and the modelling world is outrageous. For example Brazil is one of the most ethnically diverse nations on earth but from the models that you see from their one would think that everyone is white European looking, which is just jank!
We should be seeing more Asian, models from India, China, Japan, Korea and from other regions as well as more black models and aboriginal and first nations models!
I hope that they show this cover and photos on the US version soon especially as she does have a movie coming up soon and it looks rather nifty! :)
It is called Colombiana and it is considered a sister film to Leon! I am stoked for it for I adore Zoe she is another of my sheroes!
Here is the movie trailer. : )
