Remember that special cover with Marc Jacobs dressed as a woman? The one we agreed upon as disturbing? Well here’s the entire pictorial and it goes nowhere near reassuring!
I’m having troubles understanding the real reason of this styling. Was it because we have to understand and cope with Marc Jacobs being gay (unnecessary, if you ask me – talking about things like that is so last century)? Was it because we have to understand and cope with Marc Jacobs wearing skirts? Was it because we have to understand that hats and wigs are de rigueur right now? I’m puzzled…
Photographer: Patrick Demarchelier. Stylist: Katie Grand. Also – was wearing the same black shirt for each and every image part of the styling deal? (photos via)

Just janky.
Being a gay man does not mean that you want to wear women’s dresses.
I think that they are trying to be clever and provocative but have just ended up being banal and lame.
+ 1!!!!
On a second thought; the close-up photos have something tragically or disturbing beauty about them. Find it hard to find the right words in English. They move me one way or another….
The other photos are sort of disturbing in a unpleasant way though.
