Karl Lagerfeld’s Window World For Chanel

Every now and then, a new short video from Karl Lagerfeld comes to us. And we, mere mortals, confronted with the genius of his fashion (and more) perspective, we have to decipher the meanings and the directions of his artistic views.

It is happening again, with Window World, a short film signed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. Starring Madgalena Frackowiak, Barbara Dvorakova and, biensur, Baptiste Giabiconi. As creepy as it is, Karl’s fashion sense must hide something higher, some deeper meaning, something more profound than my shallow fasheye gets. Can anyone break this shortie in a fashionable manner, please? (via)

Yea gads! It was like watching a poorman’s version of the Twilight Zone episode where the store mannequins came to life but with nicer clothes.
Herr Kaiser is trying to be esoteric and clever and it is just a tad janky in the presentation ,the real plastic mannequins were the better actors. : )

Awh, at last the answer to my doubts: Baptiste IS plastic. I wondered if he’s flesh and blood.

And where were you when young Tavi (Fashion commentator) went grey at 13?

Jeez! She did it before you realized you were old!
