Chloe Sevigny’s Opening Ceremony Spring Summer 2011 Collection

I was having a great day when suddenly Chloe Sevigny’s collection happened to me! Previewing her upcoming Spring Summer 2011 collection, Chloe was looking her usual strange-hip-cool with a serious dose of self absorbedness.

For some unknown reason, though, this collection has a more tamed and calm halo than the previous mix’n’match collections for Opening Ceremony. Though I’m not sold to animal printed hosiery (except socks), especially in such a wild combo as Chloe’s: heavy print dress with leopard print tights. There’s an overall 90s feeling for this collection, hardly academic or special. So if I would’ve excused anyone buying Chloe Sevigny’s collection for Opening Ceremony by saying they wanted something wild, strange and misfit, this time I can’t come up with any pretext for buying Chloe’s OC.
