Vintage can be addictive. But why put a stop on that thrift hunger? Because you can end up looking like this! And the worse is that you could actually believe it’s fashionable and stylish!
My wardrobe may be first-hand stuffed but when I stumble across looks like this one, I have no regrets about not second-hand crossdressing! Let me hear it from you (since I haven’t done a poll in quite some time and I missed it, cast your vote right after the photo): what do you think about this student from Sweden and her animal print coat? Should she stop thrifting? (photo via)

What I think? That she’s dressed like lot of girls. I don’t like the black tights with the white knee socks. The through-shine sweater with the black bra was apparently meant to match? Further I hope that vintage animal print coat isn’t real fur. Is that a skirt or cut-off jeans? Nah, I believe I just wrote I don’t like this at all! The girl though seems happy with her look so?
A few years ago I’ve received a fur coat with tiger prints as a present from my parents on my Birthday. I only wear it once to make them happy, but no more. I looked so not my age in that coat, I was like 22 maybe and that coat was making me so over 30 :). I wouldn’t even wear it now…I’m not into animal prints.
I honestly don’t know why any woman wears animal print. Whether it’s Ivana Trump or Kate Moss it still looks tacky, cheap and nasty. Utterly inelegant.
The coat is.. ugh.. ok, well, if you have smth really shocking, constructive, reasonable and conceptual and what so ever to match it. The rest is let-me-die-please.
Ugly. No doubt.
