I remember (digging down on the fashion history road) there was a time when a sneaker’s place was on the tennis court, in the field, on the running track, in the gym, wherever sauf on the catwalk. Things have changed and the highest priests of fashion praise the sneakers, lending a helping hand to creating new and fashionable sport shoes.
Sergio Rossi redesigned the classics (and oh-so-beautiful) Puma Clyde sneakers and this is what they came out with for Fall Winter 2009/2010! (the story continues right after the jump, don’t miss the gallery with pictures from the FW 09 collection by Sergio Rossi for Puma!)
This is the second time Sergio Rossi collaborates with Puma (so we assume a natural hypothesis that the first collection was a success) and for the occasion, two new models have been introduced: the round-toe pump and the high-heeled first-round. Looking at things from a colored perspective, I’d say fashion is definitely going goth!
But then, wearing a black/dark purple high heeled sneaker has always been a secret dream of mine! If I cannot outshine the others through my tennis performance, I’ll surely tower them with my high heeled sneakers! (via)

I like the purple versions of the shoes. The white ones make me think of a health worker trying to be stylish, which is not working for me.
