Chanel’s grandiose installation saw the land of recession! And got tainted by it! From Hong Kong to Tokyo and then New York, the stylish artsy pavilion by Chanel and Zaha Hadid cuts short its flight without seeing London, Paris or Moscow.
The mad structure didn’t listen to reason or common sense but it was forced to listen to the voice of economy. Of course it will be given a diplomatic turn, but I’m sincerely relieved to see it come to an end. I’m not a 2.55 fanatic. I’m not a Coco day dreamer so my pragmatic self took control and I’m thinking maybe now, worthy attention will turn in more important directions! Were you dreaming about the Chanel Mobile Art Pavilion to land in your hometown? (for the ones who only saw the prefab artsy structure in pictures and videos) Do you think it was a great initiative? (for those who really saw and touched the future fashion Chanel temple) (via wwd)

The only Chanel things that I wish to see are the store, the two films with Shirley Maclaine and Audrey Tautou, and a wonderful coffee table book about the house and Coco. I don’t need no motor home of stuff. ; )
I really can’t get sad about it not coming to London.. I mean I would have visited if it had, but i’m not too fussed that they’ve cancelled it.
Happy Christmas stylefrizz.
