The cropped pants are a big style question to me! Worn my share of cropped jeans and pants (knee length) but this pair worn by Gwyneth Paltrow raised my eyebrows.
I love mary janes, comfy and classical. I love a good tailored trench, no matter the color! But the cropped pants with elastic band come from another movie, I’m sure of that! Just recently, Gwyneth launched a fashion-social-live-blog newsletter oriented. Last week’s letter was all about clothes and simple choices. This all black look can also fall into the simple choice category with just one exception – the cropped pants. What’s your take on today’s questionable style? Cast your vote right after the picture! I really like how it looks…on her. I think you have to be as slim and tall as she is to pull it off!
Oh dear–I don’t like it at all. And if you look at a photo of Katie Holmes on opening night of her play, you’ll see that the elastic cuff look lies low as well.
I like the idea of it and I like the simplicity of it too, but in the word of Tim Gunn those cropped trousers worry me. : )
Oh I love the trench!
I love it the way she wears this trouser, It’s not my taste and I find it unflattering for a woman, but she has a certain style which is marvelous. Not everything she wears I’m fond of but this, I really like. I can’t give you an answer why I like it. It’s just a feeling and the mood I’m in.
