In case you were wondering how some of the celebrity houses look like, this is an example. Located in one of Richard Meier’s three glass towers, Natalie Portman’s 2,500sqft apartment is on the market for $6,5 Million.
They call it splendor in the glass, I call it observation room. It’s like the world watches you from everywhere. But I guess if you pay $6,5 Million, you want the world to see you and where you’re at. I don’t find it all that impressive. What do you think? (click picture to see larger image)

I wonder why she is selling it?
I think it looks like an exclusive interior design store. I see nothing cozy here for a homebody like me. This is not a home.
Though I would love to have such a view. But with curtains to close and through see sun-shields! So I can observe or be observed when it pleases me.
I think she’s selling it because it is not a home.. It seems that last year she sold another one. People even begin to think that she has this yearly routine to sell an apartment… Who knows? The day I’ll have one apartment to sell/year, I’ll (maybe) understand her, until then I look at all that space and wonder why they need it since they (celebrity) don’t spend much time at home or in one place…
