Sold in over 70 countries, the Marqués de Riscal white wines are most appreciated and loved in the world of wine.
This time only it’s not the wine that drew my attention. Is the very special project “Ciudat del Vino”, the City of Wine. Located in Elciego, Alava and designed by Frank O. Gehry, the city of wine is a complex of buildings with well established functions: a hotel, a wine spa, a restaurant, a meeting and conference center and a banquet hall (more photos after the jump)
The most impressive, architecturally speaking, is the Marqués de Riscal Hotel. With 43 rooms fitted with luxury commodities, this hotel is branded under “The Luxury Collection”, one of the world’s most important companies in hotel and leisure industry. Enough talk, I’ll just let the pictures do the storytelling. It’s that exterior wavy look doing all the magic. I wonder, though – is that architectonic madness that’s selling the wine?
