Chanel cruises the world. From Hong Kong to Tokyo, New York and London, Moscow and Paris, the Chanel Art Container is set to take over the fashion communities.
And what could have inspired this initiator tour but the Chanel “legendary quilted bag”? 20 international contemporary artists paid tribute to this bag (Blue Noses, Daniel Buren, David Levinthal, Fabrice Hyber, Leandro Erlich, Lee Bul, Loris Cecchini, Michael Lin, Nobuyoshi Araki, Pierre & Gilles, Sophie Calle, Soju Tao, Stephen Shore, Subodh Gupta, Sylvie Fleury, Tabaimo, Wim Delvoye, Yang Fudong, Yoko Ono, Y.Z. Kami, Soundwalk) under the thorough eye of Fabrice Bousteau, the curator of this exhibition.
I haven’t decided it would worth my time going to this advertising exhibition that uses art for commercial purposes. But I have read over the internet that Hong Kong was overcrowded, so it raised pulses.
The Lagerfeld Machinery is on the loose and works on some kind of energy source that seems to never fade. Are you thinking about going to this exhibition? (and why that) It’s a good initiative?
