When Paul Andre Chopard was forced to sell his 100years family watch business because none of his sons were interested in taking over the company, the Scheufele family, the new owners of the Chopard business saw numerous ways of making a name and a profit with Chopard. And so, the company made a statement in luxury products : watches and jewellery. You can find Chopard related to charity (Jose Carreras Foundation, Prince Charles Foundation, Sabrina Foundation, Alp Action) or special events (Film Festivals, Mille Miglia- The Race, Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Oscar Party, ‘White Tie and Tiara Ball).
At the latest opening of a new Chopard in New York : Elton John, Eva Herzigova, Rachel Weisz, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Elizabeth Hurley, Adrien Brody with his girlfriend Elsa Pataky.
