Sarah Jessica Parker And The SATC Girls Do Marie Claire June 2010

Marie Claire is also movie-themed for their upcoming issue June 2010. Instead of settling for one movie star, they’re going for the entire SATC frontline cast. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon. Each and every one of them is photoshopped out of her real identity into the very on-screen flawless figures we’re used to.

And that’s surely not innovative or audience friendly. It’s just a cliché, depersonalizing staged style fabricated on the silver screen now aiming at international franchising, merchandising, fashionising. (the story continues right after the jump with more images, click here for the gallery!)

Speculations galore, the second Sex and The City movie goes further, impassibly evolving through gossip and scandals. The SATC loving population is not satisfied with watching the middle-aged foursome conquering the world in their manner. Oh, no! Fashion-wise, their attention is still SATC focused (though slightly disturbed by the new Gaga-ism taking over the world), but they want more. They’re aiming for the blood: they want catfights, superior fighting powers between the cast members, repeatedly denied by all four girls. Will that be the end of the SATC fashion? Will it be sanctioned at the Box Office? What’s your guess? (photos via 1, 2)

Ah the movie is coming soon!
I was wondering, is anyone here looking forward to seeing it?

At last I saw yesterday night the first movie on tv! I felt like the last person who was a devoted fan of the series that saw the movie. I wasn’t very willingly to watch it. So long, 148 minutes plus the commercials, pffff…. But I got through it and found it even entertaining. A looooooong commercial though for some fashion brands. Kinda hilarious too how they showed them off. :)
Sometimes I found the perfection tiresome.
OMG, SJP what has she done to her face? I’ve to confess I was very intrigued by their faces. SJP was the most worse…..oh dear, can this woman ever play another part again? Is she doomed to be Carrie the fashion icon forever?
I still liked Miranda and this time she and Charlotte were faves and it was a surprise to me when Jennifer Hudson “Louise from St. Louis” showed up being almost so refreshingly normal. I wait again until this one is on tv, so I’m not any help to the box-office numbers….sorry…

Sorry for the long part. And I’m back again……I checked the ages of the lovely ladies and I noticed Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have not (or not yet) any other movies or series in the pipeline. They both deserve work. As actors of course! Otherwise they’ve to do all together a sort of Golden Girls series? We’re all getting older in the end right? :)

……..also the pantyness madness will end one day…..famous quote from Paul Verhoeven’s “Showgirls” almost at the end said by the fabulous Gina Gershon:
“Watch your back, there’s always someone younger and hungrier coming down the stairs behind you.”

All of sudden I would love to re-watch “All About Eve”!!

I’m so far off topic and also off to do something not so fabulous: grocery shoppings but supermarkets can be a lot of fun too at times. I’m gonna show off my new bag and the weather is nice for a change. :)
