If you haven’t had your exquisite Gold Aviator from Ray Ban back when they issued their limited edition and you believe in second chances, here’s your call: Dolce & Gabbana released a Gold Edition eyewear collection.
Plated in 18 carat gold, the Dolce & Gabbana Aviators shades and specs have polarized lenses, and come in a black leather case (or a jewelry case) with a golden plaque reading D & G Gold Edition. They are nice, but I prefer silver to gold myself. I am sure that these will sell out.
Fabulous – until you accidently drop them in the road or leave them in a public bathroom. This is what happens with my $30 sunnies so no way in hell am I going to buy designer ones
