Diane Kruger followed the mini-rule of this year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala. She chose a Chanel white dress and she paired it with black accessories (black clutch and black pumps).
Diane is so classic and so classy I wonder why effortless chic isn’t everyone’s choice for tonight’s Met Gala… Her hairdo is perfectly matched with her flowery Chanel white dress. What about the makeup? It’s her only flaw tonight, in my opinion! (photos via)

The new Dior darling, Marion Cotillard looks impressively simple and beautiful for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Costume Institute’s 2009 Gala.
Her dress looks especially made for her and the Dior clutch is perfect match for the ethereal dress. It’s not every day that you can contradict Marc Jacobs fashion must (keeping it short for this year’s Met Gala, The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion) and still pull such a gorgeous appearance. Gisele Bundchen In Versace Dress At Met Gala 2009

Gisele Bundchen and her husband Tom Brady grace the Red Carpet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Met Gala 2009. For this year’s The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion Bal, Gisele stayed Versace faithful.
Given that Marc Jacobs wanted a mini-fashion for the Costume Institute’s 2009 Gala, Gisele kept her Versace affiliation in short. Opting for the metallic sequined Versace dress that you may remember in its golden version, Gisele is picture perfect (orange-tanned and all). Heidi Klum pregnant is such a beautiful sight I don’t understand why she had to wrap it all up under all that dark fabric.
J.Mendel’s black and navy dress is, however, gorgeous and Heidi wears it wonderfully for the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s 2009 Gala.
