Get Your Twilight Beauty Fix With Luna Twilight And Volturi!
July 1st, 2009 by kpriss
The Twilight madness just spread its wings a bit further and reached your beauty case! Twilight Beauty collection is proudly presented to you via DuWop (makers of Lip Venom).
The Luna Twilight lipstick is blood-red (duh!) and supposedly also used by the Twilight cast (yes, that includes Robert Pattinson) when filming the Twilight Saga’s second installment New Moon. There’s a second Twilight Beauty collection: Volturi. Less impressive/sophisticated than the Luna Twilight collection, Volturi declines itself in Deity Body Lotion, Immortal Body Shimmer and Crown Mascara.
Both Luna Twilight (with its derivatives: First Light Body Glow, Mortal Glow Blushing Crème and Color Palettes Bella, Rosalie, Alice and Victoria) and Volturi will presumably be available starting November 20th, the launch date of Twilight’s New Moon. Now that’s the beauty case that’ll make the envy of every Twilight-er out there! Harry Potter, who? (via, photochopping courtesy Stylefrizz)
Keanu Reeves Does Vogue Hommes International Spring Summer 2009
July 1st, 2009 by kpriss
Drowning my Watson craze, I took up on a funny, great challenge and got myself into men (style) talk. Because I was commissioned by our dear friend, Ellington, to take my brains off Emma and deliver you something new: men style.
I’ll start with an ageless favorite of mine: Keanu Reeves. Gracing the Spring Summer 2009 issue of Vogue Hommes International, can you really believe he’s 44-years old? (the story continues right after the jump with more pictures!)

Christy Turlington For Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2009 Ad Campaign
June 30th, 2009 by kpriss
Christy Turlington. Yves Saint Laurent. That alone could be enough to light up our curiosity!
Keeping the super-quality of YSL ads, Stefano Pilati chose Christy Turlington for the Fall Winter 2009/2010 campaign. It’s all in the black and white, it’s all in the simple gorgeousness that is YSL, bonus the red lipstick! There’s just one thing bugging me: all that leather! Lily Allen’s Chanel Coco Cocoon Bags Collection Ad Campaign
June 30th, 2009 by kpriss
So it’s true, after all! British songbird Lily Allen is the spokesface for Chanel’s upcoming handbags collection ad campaign!
Set to be released in October 2009, Coco Cocoon, the new Chanel bags line will be fronted by Miss Allen looking all princess-ish and lovely as toujours. How beyond! Take that, Emma! (oh, did I ever mentioned I like Lily Allen’s songstress ways?) (via)

Christy Turlington’s Bally Ad Campaign Fall Winter 2009 2010
June 30th, 2009 by kpriss
Christy Turlington keeps the supers in this season’s ads campaign. Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, Christy Turlington appears accompanied by Oriol Elcacho, a typical, ageless, timeless male model.
The main advantage of this campaign is that I can’t really place it in a specific time (or location). It’s simply not about “the moment” is about the passing. Brian Atwood’s favorite, Christy brings such an amazing modesty in this campaign that you almost forget what day is and what the pictures were supposed to be about. Armani Exchange On The High Line
June 30th, 2009 by kpriss
The High Line Park is a convincing project. Whether that’s because of Diane von Furstenberg being so into it or simply because it’s popular, the High Line becomes a commercially powerful attraction.
Armani already sensed the potential and didn’t miss the opportunity to make its new Armani Exchange ad panel a significant part of the High Line landscape. Could that be interpreted as a green light for DVF’s High Line Park? Or it’s just one of those seize the ad-moment things? (via)
Dare To Wear Lace Up Bike Shorts?
June 30th, 2009 by kpriss
If Lindsay Lohan was truly the fashion visionary she pretends to be, this new shiny leggings-thing would have had the 6126 label all over it!
But no, these bike shorts with leggings laces wrapping down the leg was imagined and made by Anzevino and Florence. (you have to check them out, they have an adorably playful way to work fabrics!) They could very well be the next big thing in leggings wear. Or not. It’s up to you! Personally, I’d see the shorts even shorter and the laces coming straight from the hip down. It would make more aesthetic sense to me. What say you? (via)
Carmen Kass For Michael Kors Ad Campaign Fall Winter 2009 2010
June 30th, 2009 by kpriss
Carmen Kass and paparazzi photographs is a recurrent theme chez Michael Kors. There goes Carmen alongside Noah Mills as the power couple acclaimed by the crowd and snapped by gossip photographers for the Fall-Winter 2009/2010 campaign.
Entering and leaving a New York Broadway Theater is a subject close to Michael Kors’ heart for he’s been a Broadway Theater fervent since he was five. The campaign has something disturbing, despite its contemporary inspiration (and despite Carmen Kass).
The social act of being a celeb hunted by fans and paps implies a certain shallowness that cannot be dissimulated even if the celeb in cause attends the theater. The media has more power on people’s imagination than any form of classic culture. Is this the fallen art? (via)
