Christian Louboutin Psychologic Film
September 21st, 2009 by kpriss
Fashion film is the new black! If you’re in the business (or aspiring) and you haven’t done a short promotional film, you might as well stop doing/dreaming about the fash business!
Christian Louboutin hopped in the short-film band wagon with a Psycho-like 8 minutes long half black and white, half glittery colored film (I suppose it was only made for the love of irony: making a Psycho-logic film for a Hollywood boutique opening had to come down to some fashionably cerebral business). Starring short-blond-hair Elisa Sednaoui and Christian Louboutin himself, this is the new commercial by the Hitchcock-ian God of Shoes! (I bet he wouldn’t mind some SATC attention!) (is that a Victoria Beckham dress, on Elisa?) At least Mika’s back! (via)

Hannelore Knuts Is Cruella De Vil In Vogue Italia September 2009 By Tim Walker
September 21st, 2009 by kpriss
The second fantastic pictorial I fell fash-nuts’n love with since a looong, loooong magazine-time! Featured in Vogue Italy September 2009 and also signed by Tim Walker, it portrays a decadent, delightfully frivole, modern days Cruella.
Yep, that’s Cruella De Vil, Disney’s most ferosh, fierce fashionista character ever! (I hereby confess my strong dislikness for all things Cruella, so please note the following occurs in the name of fashion, any resemblance to real life style likeness is purely incidental and not to be followed without a stylist’s supervision!) (click through to discover all the De Vil-ish photos right after the jump!)
Talk To My Louis Vuitton Bag!
September 21st, 2009 by kpriss
Man, I’ve been here so long, waiting for the Sartorialist to take my stylish picture, my Louis Vuitton bag got wasted! Just take a look! I even booked three places, hoping at least one will get photographed! it’s all brown, anyway!
I even ate one of the red Gummy bears from my precious knuckle ring! (photo via)

Pregnant Heidi Klum In Black Marchesa Dress For 2009 Emmy Awards
September 21st, 2009 by kpriss
And I give you (drum roll) Heidi Klum, looking smokin’ hot! Besides having a huge belly and that pregnant face (you know – and if you didn’t, take this like the “pregnant woman axiom” – every pregnant woman has a mother-face, something she develops as the pregnancy evolves, you may call it glow, the fact of the matter is that a pregnant woman is pregnant everywhere: from her iris down to her toes!)
Heidi Klum, like every celeb expecting mother who respects herself and her Red Carpet appearance, wears a custom made dress. A Marchesa in Heidi’s case! (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)

Hair, The New Beauty It?
September 21st, 2009 by kpriss
You know you’re in fashion when this will happen to you! Proenza Schouler’s Spring Summer 2010 catwalk brought something new: hairy legs. (I’ll have to take a rain check for the actual collection, allow me to concentrate on this hairy problem for now!)
Good or bad, you tell me! My vote goes to bad! (it looks like Perez wasn’t so fashionless after all!) (photo via)
Hayden Panettiere Red J Mendel Dress For 2009 Emmy Awards
September 20th, 2009 by kpriss
Yep, that’s it! Those 2010 trends are all over the Red Carpet! Hayden Panettiere showed up at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards wearing Tomato Puree Red J. Mendel dress!
Looking old-school glamorous with her blond hair curled up and pulled back and pinned together by at least a zillion hair pins (I confess, I’m addicted to hair pins myself! I just love the way my curly hair looks carelessly deconstructive kept together by a handful of simple, classic hair pins and bobby pins!) (the story continues right after the jump with more images!)

Victoria Rowell’s Obama Dress At 2009 Emmy Awards
September 20th, 2009 by kpriss
Victoria Rowell. Last time I saw her she was still Young and Restless. Is she, still? However, this is not about the Young and the Restless. This is about the charming Victoria Rowell and her Red Carpet dress at the 2009 edition of the Primetime Emmy Awards.
How should we take this? (speaking about the Force issues!) (photos via)

The Force Is Strong With This One!
September 20th, 2009 by kpriss
Just having some Presidential fun! Light sabers, The White House, what could possibly be wrong?
(on a style note: you might notice that the Light Saber carried by President Obama is perfectly matched to the First Lady’s cardigan, which is perfectly matched with her entire outfit. Which is a perfect match altogether, wouldn’t you agree?) (photo via)
