Christian Louboutin Psychologic Film

Fashion film is the new black! If you’re in the business (or aspiring) and you haven’t done a short promotional film, you might as well stop doing/dreaming about the fash business!

Christian Louboutin hopped in the short-film band wagon with a Psycho-like 8 minutes long half black and white, half glittery colored film (I suppose it was only made for the love of irony: making a Psycho-logic film for a Hollywood boutique opening had to come down to some fashionably cerebral business). Starring short-blond-hair Elisa Sednaoui and Christian Louboutin himself, this is the new commercial by the Hitchcock-ian God of Shoes! (I bet he wouldn’t mind some SATC attention!) The second fantastic pictorial I fell fash-nuts’n love with since a looong, loooong magazine-time! Featured in Vogue Italy September 2009 and also signed by Tim Walker, it portrays a decadent, delightfully frivole, modern days Cruella.

Yep, that’s Cruella De Vil, Disney’s most ferosh, fierce fashionista character ever! (I hereby confess my strong dislikness for all things Cruella, so please note the following occurs in the name of fashion, any resemblance to real life style likeness is purely incidental and not to be followed without a stylist’s supervision!) Man, I’ve been here so long, waiting for the Sartorialist to take my stylish picture, my Louis Vuitton bag got wasted! Just take a look! I even booked three places, hoping at least one will get photographed! it’s all brown, anyway!

Besides having a huge belly and that pregnant face (you know – and if you didn’t, take this like the “pregnant woman axiom” – every pregnant woman has a mother-face, something she develops as the pregnancy evolves, you may call it glow, the fact of the matter is that a pregnant woman is pregnant everywhere: from her iris down to her toes!)

You know you’re in fashion when this will happen to you! Proenza Schouler’s Spring Summer 2010 catwalk brought something new: hairy legs. (I’ll have to take a rain check for the actual collection, allow me to concentrate on this hairy problem for now!)
