Japanese Fashion Beyond Your Wildest Imagination
November 25th, 2009 by kpriss
Talking about Japan and not making as much as a side note about the Japanese fashion is a no-go! So I’ll be making more than just a side note! I’ll be making an entire article! Because Japanese Fashion is worth it!
And when you’ll see Lady Gaga dressed like this, you’ll know where it comes from! The following takes place in Japan, at the Design Festa (a special festival which takes place in Tokyo, in October, with highlights from fashion, art, music, everything DIY). A special group (Princess Time) catwalked this special show (Special Makeup Fashion Show) with fairy tale characters: The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood and a special princess. Empire State Of Mind Alicia Keys Piano
November 25th, 2009 by kpriss
I’ve heard this a million times over. Haven’t grow tired of it and still, hearing beautiful Alicia singing it with her piano only got me by surprise!
I love this girl! She’s beautiful and she has a heavenly voice! She plays that piano like nobody’s business! And Empire State of Mind never sounded so good (no offense Jay! You’ve gotta give it to Alicia!). It’s a good song for a mid week day! It’s inspiring and even if you’re not feeling the New York blood pouring down your veins, you can’t be insensitive to Alicia Keys! I bet even rocks soften up and cry hearing her sing and by the time she’s through they’re feeling far more solid than they’d ever be!
John Lennon And Yoko Ono, The Lost Pictures
November 25th, 2009 by kpriss
There was something about John Lennon and Yoko Ono that made it into the legend. Something above life and death. Something about art.
Some pictures taken 40 years ago in the famous Amsterdam Hotel Room where they spent the last week of their honeymoon protesting against war have surfaced recently. Yoko Ono and John Lennon in their bed from Room 902 as photographed by Nico Koster. (the story continues right after the jump with more images, click here to see the gallery)

Converse spins my head with their new releases! After that amazing Patta Le Le quilted gray wonder, there goes the (Product)Red Leather Jacket Chuck Taylor All Star!
Besides being really, really ridiculously good looking, the new Red Converse (priced at $200) will help The Global Fund to eliminate AIDS in Africa. Made to look like a patchwork of motorcycle jacket leather, the red Converse sneakers sport a zipper finish, snaps and embossed details plus a back-zipper to make your life easier. How do you like the new Red Converse? (click through to see more images of the new Chuck Taylor All Star!) (via)
World’s 32 Sexiest Men, The Vintage Edition
November 24th, 2009 by kpriss
This is one of those days when I’m trying to make up for the lack of men around here. I only have eyes for one (blush), you can’t hold it against me (blush again)…
Nevertheless, it’s the Season when sweets of all sorts are more than welcomed. Life’s eye candy article about the sexiest men of the 50s, 60s and 70s comes with Marlon Brando in first place. (the story continues right after the jump with more images)
Not Your Average Thanksgiving Dinner
November 24th, 2009 by kpriss
Have you thought about the Thanksgiving Dinner yet? I bet you have! And I bet you have all those goodies all planned out, carefully, thoroughly, impatiently waiting for all your loved ones to gather round the goodies-filled table!
I hope everything goes smooth and peacefully! Nothing to do with the following! (however, one must be prepared and ready to meet every desire so we won’t have to discuss the violently wrong idea that pushed this Peta campaign forward! Thanksgiving is a joyful time, right?) (via)

i-D The Supermodels, Lara Stone, Georgia Jagger, Winter 2009
November 24th, 2009 by kpriss
i-D’s cover trifecta for the 2009 winter Flesh and Blood Issue is not without a certain charm. But still. Don’t you feel tired of all that Lara Stone overexposure?
Mind the little Jagger girl, she’s coming up strong! (must be the BB gap) Supermodels? Three beautiful ladies wearing as less as black leather boots for a magazine cover will sell despite of who they are and what they do (or used to do). Because clothes-less issues as even more relevant than the actual clothes! (the story continues right after the jump with more images, check out the gallery to see more from the Winter 2009 issue of i-D magazine!)
