Kirsten Dunst Is Turning Japanese For A Video With Takashi Murakami

Remember that strange manga outfit on Kirsten Dunst a while back? And remember we said it was for some kind of shooting? Well, it turns out if was for a music video!

With Takashi Murakami, Kirsten’s “Akihabara Majokko Princess” video is actually sung by her! This is meant as an art project for the Tate Museum in London Pop Life: Art in a Material World. Commissioned to Charlie’s Angels director, McG, the video story is a colorful, lifefull Lost in Translation vision. (hit the jump for more demystification)

Agyness Deyn To Launch Online Magazine!

For those of you who were missing Agyness Deyn, this will definitely make your day! Agyness Deyn is going into the magazines business! Online, to me more specific!

Naag.com (don’t even bother, right now there’s nothing on, not even an “Aggy says come back soon” sign, just an impersonal url name holder banner; then again, when even The Rolling Stone magazine forgot to renew their name url subscription and lost their domain for few days, everything’s possible!). So, Naagdotcom. What’s it stand for? The “-ag” suffix is from Agyness and the “na-“ prefix from Fiona Byrne’s name, Aggy’s associate in this online venture. Hey, at least she didn’t signed up for a bags collection or something! (via, photo via)

Dare To Wear The Wooden Belt?

I brought you the Bike Tire Belt not far back so I feel compelled to continue the belt-oddness with some other daring waist do: the wooden belt!

Made by You And Me The Royal We, the Bark Buckle Leather Belt is made from authentic leather with a real bark buckle on. The buckles are also available as separates (for $48) but then again, you can have the screen printed wood grain pattern leather belt to put the cherry on top (for $70). Wouldn’t you? Sporty, Fashionable, Trendy. Carmen Kass By Mario Testino

This is Mario Testino’s eye on sporty trendy looks with a little help from the ever-so-lovely Carmen Kass. It’s actually an older pictorial, featured in Vogue’s UK edition, the November 2009 issue (from which you had a visual byte of magical whimsicality with Make Do Mend).

I bring you these not because it was reprinted in a current issue of a fashion magazine but because I think all those sporty hipsters out there swearing on sport brands and pretending to be couture-ish should actually dress like this. How many times we’ve seen a neon colored tracksuit with a bigger-than-life label on worn with a glitzy, costly pair of sneakers, dernier cri but actually failing to be fashionable in every way? (I say one too many!) (the story continues with more images right after the jump! click here for the gallery!)

White Socks, Black High Heels Shoes For Cocktail Party

You may remember I was enthusiast about that old socks and sandals trend a while back. I still feel the same way. However, this particular photo got my attention today and I’m bringing it to your style attention, speak your mind, please!

As for me, there’s something going wrong about the 80s black vest with rolled sleeves, the black fringe mini skirt and especially the black suede high heels and those frilly white socks! Something very, very wrong! (photo via)

Dolly Forever Barbie By Christian Louboutin

Missed some good ol’ Barbie? I know I did, after that News Anchor new Barbie! Our dear friend Ellington sent me the latest going on in Barbie’s wardrobe: Dolly Forever by Christian Louboutin.

Besides being outrageously gorgeous, the purple frilly over the knee boots bear the stunning Louboutin signature. All that for Barbie! (I still have my dreams set on that H & M line by Christian Louboutin!) (more Barbie by Christian Louboutin here)

Vogue Hommes Japan Spring Summer 2010

I know I asked this before: but why should men buy a magazine targeting them and in the same time looking like this? Vogue Hommes Japan recently premiered the cover of their upcoming Spring Summer 2010 issue.

And it looks like they have Jesus on the cover! And again, I ask: what dogmatic machismo inferno must push a man to actually read this magazine? Which was meant for him? (forget that, hit the jump to see what women magazines covers would look like if they were written by men. At least let’s have some fun while we’re at it!) (photos via 1, 2)
