DKNY’s Fragrance For Women Can Cause Serious Case of PDA
April 21st, 2011 by kpriss
I’ll try to stay away from those warm sandy beaches that I keep on thinking about and concentrate on the big city. With a little help from DKNY.
The latest DKNY Fragrance for women will be officially launched Friday, April 22nd (yep, yes, that’s tomorrow) and that Public Display of Affection you’ll see in the ad below will be recreated in front of the Sephora on Broadway (44th Street). The main characters of the marketing stunt, the same ones that made it on the advertising billboard are Anja Rubik and her fiance, Sasha Knezevic. Aren’t they unearthly gorgeous together? (via)
What’s With Kate Moss And Her Love For Animals?
April 21st, 2011 by kpriss
Are you ready for the egg hunt? We’re trying to get things prepped up in here but after watching the following video I’m not sure I’m getting things right.
Kate Moss is having another bad case of love. For animals. You may remember her last stunt for Comic Relief? (Poor Teddy Bear, I’m with you, Ellington, I’d like so much to see a sequel of that spot where the teddy bear has his revenge!) Well, if you didn’t like that, you will most certainly not appreciate the following one: it’s for Basement, a Chilean fashion label. It involves Kate Moss, a giant rabbit, and.. well, I don’t like spoilers, so I will give you none! Watch the video and tell me what you think! (love the music, though!) (via)
Kate Moss Covers Vogue Paris May 2011
April 21st, 2011 by kpriss
I’ve been talking about warm summer beaches so long now I think there’s something that needs to be done to cool off that attitude. Let’s take Kate Moss‘ cover for Vogue Paris May 2011 and chew on it.
It’s photographed by Mert and Marcus and includes five men hands besides Kate Moss. And a strongly Christmas-y look. I’m guessing this won’t help Emmanuelle Alt either? (she’s taking out the big guns, however, rolling out Kate Moss on a cover… Even if it’s not season – inviting, I’ll wait for the pictorial before calling it a fail.) (Vogue via)
H & M Swimwear Ad Campaign 2011
April 20th, 2011 by kpriss
I think there’s something with me and warm sandy beaches today. It’s all I can think about, apparently, since I only see summery, beachy topics everywhere.
This time it’s H & M. The Swedish fastfashion giant is releasing its 2011 Swimwear Ad Campaign bit by bit. And as summer eager as I am, I can’t wait for the entire thing to pop up so here it is, what’s been made available so far. Filippa Hamilton and Edita Vilkeviciute show off their flawless bikiny bodies and their enviable tan in a dream beach decor (don’t you just love it how they only include the price for the bikini top and not the bottom? why would that be?) The New It Nail Polish Yellow Bananas Manicure
April 20th, 2011 by kpriss
Summer is here, yellow nail polish is the right nail thing to do and you know it! Regardless of the Chanel minty trendy stuff, you know there’s something out there outpowering Chanel’s soft shaded nail polish: Prada. Prada’s bananas from their Spring Summer 2011 collection make the rounds of the fashinterwebs.
You may find it on clothes, as accessories and now it’s on your fingers! The Prada Bananas inspired manicure is now here for your eyes (and nails) delight. Aren’t these just… bananas? (Wah Nails via)
Sofia Vergara Diet Pepsi With David Beckham
April 20th, 2011 by kpriss
Ohhh, did you know that the new Sofia Vergara Diet Pepsi ad campaign is out? And that it involves David Beckham?
We already talked about this and I was so eager to discover the new campaign so when this came along as the viral of the day thing, I could hardly contain my enthusiasm as to pull out few coherent phrases that could pass on as an introduction fooooor (drum roll please!) Sofia Vergara and David Beckhaaaam Diet Pepsi video. (did I also mention it all rolls down at the beach? I’m so waiting for beach – time summer weather!)

Daria Werbowy’s Lancome O De L’Orangerie Perfume Ad Campaign
April 20th, 2011 by kpriss
I can’t help but think about summer and summery things. And Daria Werbowy‘s advertising for Lancome as the face of their most recent perfume: O De L’Orangerie is as summery as it gets.
While I’m loving Daria and think she’s just a flawless, gorgeous girl, I can’t help but wonder what her look has to do with the new fragrance. Then again, as long as rubbing against real life size lions is a stylish enough image to sell perfumes, I guess Daria’s immaculate one here can be judged as perfect, ideal match for Lancome’s O de L’Orangerie. But isn’t she lovely? And that summery decor and perfect tan are to sigh for! (photo via)
Hermes For Children Plush Horse
April 20th, 2011 by kpriss
Talking about the Hermes coloring book and its new contender, the Yves Saint Laurent colouring book got me thinking that, maybe, Hermes got news about the YSL thing and stepped up in the children fashion game. And I was right!
Hermes has now something new in store for the fashionistas mothers out there: plush horses! Nothing more appealing for the wee ones than plush horses with the Hermes trademark orange braids! Ranging from $395 (for a 11”) to $530 (for a 15”), the plush horses from Hermes are more decorative than educational. But you can’t have both for $500, right? Now if they would’ve saddled the lil’ horse with one of their surreal Hermes bags, I would’ve been sold in a second! But now I’m forced to hold back until they leather up that beauty! How about you? Aren’t you willing to forget about Hermes bags and go for Hermes plush toys? (which you can buy here)
