Natalie Portman’s Post Baby Body

We were just talking about Natalie Portman and the fact that we hadn’t seen her much (read at all) since she had her baby in May. And what do you know, she popped up just the other day, looking gorgeous and modest, comme d’habitude.

What intrigues me the most is the tabloids trying to make the most of their story by saying that she’s in no hurry to regain her pre baby body! What is going on with you people? She’s looking great! I wonder what’s in their heads – you have your baby and then, the only thing on a new mom’s mind should be how to lose the extra weight occasioned by the pregnancy! It’s shallow, insensitive and appalling! (is it not?)

Yaaaay! So it’s finally official! Which means that Jennifer Garner is actually expecting a third child with husband Ben Affleck! No more speculations, no more rumors, Jen and Ben have confirmed the happy news and it’s now allover the place!

Maybe this time it’s a boy, huh? Whatever they wish is, congrats and a healthy pregnancy to the happy mom to be! (she’s looking great, radiant and adorable as usual!)

It’s a tricky question, you may notice if you follow the course of the story – which I will keep short – and, see the image!

I love this sharpie handbag project – it’s fun, it’s cute, it’s made by you! That is, of course, in case you decide to do it. Because I for one, I would try to do it – it’s so (I just realized I can’t bring myself to say something I haven’t already said!) so much screaming “I did it myself” that I would not refuse myself the pleasure and the pride of carrying to good end such a fashionable project… ahem bag! Would you? Seriously?

Oh wow! This is a good month for Alexander Skarsgard! Not only he shared a double cover issue with his ex – flame, Kate Bosworth, for BlackBook’s anniversary edition, now here he is again, on a September cover!

This time it’s Wonderland, and also double cover Priceless Issue, with the other cover being graciously held by Kirsten Dunst as photographed by Miguel Reveriego and styled by Grace Cobb. (Alexander Skarskard has been photographed by Bjarne Jonasson). That’s truly a wonder-ful Wonderland doing. World apart from the BlackBook thing, wouldn’t you say?

Did you get a fair look at the new fall 2011 collections? Before you go screaming with horror at the new color combinations, you should know that bright colors are in for this fall. (you’ve just seen Elizabeth Banks and Rashida Jones doing the color blocks Red Carpet thing…)

And the way they match? It’s crazy, unlike anything I’ve seen before since the fresh sixties. Bright yellow with bright purple? Bright purple with bright blue? Guess who’s got a September 2011 issue cover? (and more) Megan Fox! Amica is an Italian fashion magazine, if memory serves me right, pretty much like Elle? Please correct me if I’m wrong!

Either way, let’s enjoy a new pictorial from Megan Fox, pretty as always, flawless comme d’habitude (I imagine Michael Bay is green right now – Rosie was such a huge disappointment in the latest Transformers). Megan’s pictorial as photographed by Richard Phibbs is not really groundbreaking, just Megan being gorgeous and seductress. Only she’s doing it so well! Doesn’t she? Truly a Hollywood star.(can’t wait for her next This is forty movie!)

Can you honestly miss the opportunity to talk jeans? I can’t. Standard or premium denim, jeans is a wardrobe must. Now about Marc Jacobs and his ability to turn anything and everything he touches into gold: you may want to grab a pair of jeans from Marc by Marc Jacobs’ Fall Winter 2011 2012 collection.

Before you know it, they’ll be everywhere! I think. I’m unsure if the $138 price tag qualifies them as premium denim, but what I do know is that Marc Jacobs’ new jeans collection looks pretty fly. I wish I could pull a pair of boyfriend skinny like the model below (I think they’re actually called Slim Slouchy Bergen Wash jeans!)

Did you hear about Hillary Duff being pregnant? Yep, yes she is! Days before Hillary went on and officially announced the happy news, she was seen out and about wearing a simple white tank tee and a pair of black skinny pants accessorized with Prada sunglasses, Prada purse and sky high Louboutins.

Hilary must be one of those happy pregnant moms to be who don’t show until well in their second trimester! Well, either way, let the baby bump watch begin!
