CFDA Red Carpet: Cynthia Rowley’s Christian Louboutin’s Pilule Bag

Well, my dahlings, we pride ourselves with identifying at least one of the happy owners of one from the 7,000 Christian Louboutin Pilule bags! And that just a day after we talked about the original design of this tiny chained handbag! Cynthia Rowley!

I can only assume she paired the Pilule with one of her own designs as her outfit’s style is really similar to the flashy silky prints Cynthia is usually encompassing in her catwalk presentations.

Bag aside, have you noticed the person posing next to our very respected CFDA member, Cynthia Rowley? It’s one of the “Girls” (as in one of the actresses starring in HBO’s new comedy, Girls) Zosia Mamet. Boy, does it rain on her parade or what? And I though I didn’t know how to pose nicely!

This is either a very unfortunate angle, or just an awkward case of mixing and matching. The kind that was made popular by Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise back in the day. Garance Dore, in an emerald green strapless dress by Derek Lam and Scott Schuman (aka the Sartorialist), lovingly walked the CFDA Awards Red Carpet last night. Honored with the Media Award, as we already knew, the street fashion photographers pair seem to enjoy the attention! ahem the love!{wwd}

The young Duchess we all love watching (at least fashion – wise) kept Alexander McQueen – faithful with yet another remarkable outfit signed by Sarah Burton. The vibrant red dress with pleated skirt worn by Duchess Catherine at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee was head turning.

And heart warming as she left it to (clearly) her favorite designer to create and adjust the perfect look for such a big day. Isn’t she perfect?

Celebrated as one of the most eminent fashion minds of the decade, Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen received supreme recognition from the Council of Fashion Designers of America last night. As you may have heard, the Council of Fashion Designers of America held their special annual Awards Ceremony last night. Among the luminaries who attended the event, here are the ever gorgeous Karen Elson who walked the CFDA Red Carpet with Tabitha Simmons. I’m not too fond of the green ensemble Karen had on, but as I’ve seen around, cropped corset – tops are a big hit this summer.

Accessory – wise, however, Karen Elson was impeccably matched – those sandals stole my heart! It’s no wonder, though, given that Tabitha Simmons was given a CFDA 2012 Swarovski Award for Accessory Design!

I love all kinds of original, unusual designs. When almost everything and anything has been done before, it’s always a blessing to see something new around.

But a blue / white pill in guise of handbag still hasn’t crossed my mind until now. I’m happy to see it someone still thought of it and exploited the design into a limited edition, ultra – expensive handbags series: Christian Louboutin’s Pilule $7,000 bag, 100% resin is reportedly already out of stock.
