Stella McCartney Resort 2013 Collection: Oversized Prints For Garden Party

Stella McCartney fashion shows is just a fancy pretext for fancy people to have a fancy gathering. Stella’s Resort 2013 Collection looks like a nice, although fancy, garden party. It’s where you can wear all kinds of unfitting clothes and pass on as absolutely, awesomely stylish!

From what I’ve seen, Stella’s new collection features loud leopard prints paired with yellow and white, white again with pale sky blue, all shades of pink and big flower prints (the kind of dress only your couch could wear). If Sofia Coppola won’t use clothes from Stella McCartney’s Resort 2013 collection for her next movie, I’ll be deeply disappointed!

Have you heard that Vogue already has its September 2012 cover ready? It’s Lady Gaga as photographed by Mert and Marcus, if we’re to believe wwd reporting the facts today!

As surprising as Lady Gaga may be for yet another Vogue cover (after her first March 2011 one), it’s even more surprising to see that Women’s Wear Daily mixed up their images stock and ended up using a photo from Just Jared dot com – as illustrated by the screen cap below. We were having a quiet debut of a new week until the news about H & M’s next designer collaboration broke the silence into a gazillion fashion pieces: Maison Martin Margiela! Maison Martin Margiela to a H & M store near you, next! Haute fashion meets cheap productivity. Will that translate into popularity? Financial success for the Maison? For the Swedish fashion giant? The graceful Jessica Chastain recently attended the 2012 Tony Awards ceremony (held this very Sunday in New York, at the Beacon Theater). Now about her dress: you’ll either love it or completely dismiss it (on some Britney Spears lookalike premises, if nothing else bothers you).

Jessica Chastain is wearing a see through Marios Schwab lace dress in a skin – like shade accessorizing it heavenly with her perfect smile. But did you know that Jessica was recently announced as the face of Yves Saint Laurent’s Manifesto perfume? I’m happy to see she gets the attention she deserves, but I doubt YSL will capitalize on her sweet and candid features. More likely they’ll turn her into some kind of Amazonian fashionista, wouldn’t you say?

That’s one of those l o l type of questions. In my world, at least. But I’ll concentrate on some other aspect of the matter so I can actually get through this story objectively. Selena Gomez, my dahlings, launched her perfume at Macy’s, NY, Saturday, June 9th 2012.
