Shine Like Diamonds Nails With Azature Black Diamond Polish
November 28th, 2012 by kpriss
Not long ago, Kelly Osbourne was attending a special Red Carpet awards event while wearing (and tweeting about it, biensur) the most expensive nail polish in the world! We talked about it at the time: Azature Black Diamonds nail polish created quite the storm in the written and spoken media. Which had led to Kelly issuing a public apology for wearing the said polish.
The affordable version of the much – buzzed about polish is now available through Selfridges at $24. Compared to the original black diamonds lacquer which ‘only’ costs $132,800, I’d say that’s a real bargain. Real fake, but bargain nevertheless…
Gucci’s Frida Giannini Is Pregnant!
November 28th, 2012 by kpriss
The Holiday Season is barely starting and happy news came pouring in like starry snowflakes!
After congratulating Lara Stone (and her husband) for their pregnancy announcement, it’s time to pass the congratulatory letter to Gucci’s creative – Frida Giannini who is pregnant with her (and partner Patrizio di Marco’s) first child.
Attending the catwalk business as usual, the baby is scheduled for post – Fashion Week delivery! If it’s a girl, she’ll home high heels first! {vogueitalia}
UPDATE: as it was expected and announced, Frida’s baby was delivered right after she presented her Fall Winter 2013 2014 Fashion Show. Well.. it’s not like she went straight from giving the final designer bow into the maternity ward, but just a couple of days later!
The baby was delivered safe and sound, with excellent reports and… yes! It’s a girl! Her name is Greta! Isn’t it a wonderful name? I thought she will name her Flora, as a reminder of how she revolutionized the Gucci fashion house taking over from Tom Ford’s legacy and concentrating on Gucci’s iconic past by reinventing the iconic Flora print and applying it from accessories to clothing, everywhere!
Just imagine what wee Greta will wear as her mother started a children’s line within Gucci since 2011!
Kate And Naomi Cover Interview Russia December 2012
November 28th, 2012 by kpriss
The year is far from being over and here’s another flawless cover delivered by Kate Moss. With Naomi Campbell. In Russia.
Interview Russia December 2012 with the original supermodels sure sounds promising! Mert and Marcus did their usual camera magic and then waved the smoothing wand and then everything got back to the supers days. I don’t even mind that, in the name of art! I mind the cover choice: the unnecessary bareness of a woman’s body (as I said it over tFS as well). There’s enough fashion power in these two girls to move mountains, why go overboard when it’s just not needed? Thankfully, they have a second cover available, not as striking, pose – wise, but I guess that will have to do.(you can see it after the jump; click here for the gallery!)
Fall Boots You Need: Red Velour Booties
November 28th, 2012 by kpriss
What do you do when your heart wants more than just one pair of boots / season? I thought about penning a nice letter to Santa. Do you think that’ll do? Because, honestly, as much as I love Chelsea boots and flat boots in general, I can’t see myself without a pair of fancy – but comfy and casual – high heeled boots as well!
Laced up, zipped up, you name it, but as long as it comes with high heels, I’d definitely giv’em a try! Take these velour booties below: the heel is not too high, the profile is not too fancy but not all casual either and they honestly had me at ‘velour’! (Stuart Weitzman signed those Wallapalooza booties and they could be yours for $250. On sale. I wonder if Santa is seeing all these wonderful sales.. hmm)
Ad Fail: Saskia De Brauw’s Saint Laurent Men’s Campaign
November 28th, 2012 by kpriss
I distinctly remember a line Andrej Pejic threw once, back when he was in his glory peak days, saying that maybe fashion houses are in a sensitive financial position and, by hiring him, they’d get both the girl and a boy for the price of one. With that in mind, also adding the fact that creative heads of their own fashion maisons seem to find it suitable to do their own advertising (photography and styling), I’m compelled to label Saskia de Brauw’s Saint Laurent Men’s Ad Campaign as normal!
However, if I would step aside from the fashion spotlight, putting things in a normal perspective, I’d say this is sick, even for fashion standards! (the story continues after the jump, click here for the gallery!)

How To Get The Hermes Stamp Of Bag Approval!
November 28th, 2012 by kpriss
Here’s some quick fashion fun: because a Hermes stamp is obviously more affordable than a Hermes bag, a scarf or any other Hermes thingie. Hermes French postal service Valentine’s Day 2013 Heart collection includes Hermes scarf design as well as four more illustrations, available late January in all post offices. From France, biensur. I’d take those stamps and stick them on a bag. That’ll make it stamped by Hermes, not? {wwd}
Would You Buy The Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds Doll?
November 27th, 2012 by kpriss
We covered the unusually addictive topic of Barbie Collector dolls in the past, so this isn’t so surprising after all. A new Elizabeth Taylor Barbie doll is available, called Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds doll, inspired by the iconic actress’ costumes.
This comes after the premiere of Lifetime’s Liz & Dick film with the controversial Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor (who has been harshly criticized for her performance) so it may actually come in handy as a Christmas gift for a Liz Taylor (or Barbie) fan. Knowing that the doll comes with two white dresses, miniature versions of her jewelry, shades, Liz Taylor’s signature perfume and a movie script, would you pay $150 for it?

Comme des Carres Rei Kawakubo For Hermes
November 27th, 2012 by kpriss
Comme des Garcons’ Rei Kawakubo is doing a special ‘Comme des Carres’ collaboration with Hermes for two limited, special edition Hermes scarves with Rei’s specific graphics. One of the Carre scarves – reportedly named ‘Coleurs – will feature a splashy salad of geometric patterns, shirt stripes and Vichy checks while another black and white one could very well bear CdG hearts on orange Hermes horses, as it hasn’t been precisely described yet.{wwd, image}
