It’s a hard year for Kate Moss. Recently, the Harper’s Bazaar Best-Dressed list ranked her 10th best dressed woman in Britain. And all the press is talking about how that wasn’t enough for Kate (who was ranked 3rd in 2006): she was beaten by the Romanian model Irina Lazareanu, her discovery and friend, and now girlfriend of Kate’s ex- Pete Doherty and Belgian model Anouk Lepere, the fiancee of Jefferson Hack, the father of Kate’s daughter.

This year’s best dressed woman of Britain is Natalia Vodianova, the Russian model, followed by Thandie Newton and Agyness Deyn, a model called “the new Kate Moss”. Helen Mirren was 4th on Harper’s Bazaar List, 5th best-dressed woman of Britain was Lily Allen, 6th place was taken by Emily Blunt, on 7th place, we find JK Rowling. In other places: Sienna Miller is on 18th position, Keira Knightley 21st, Rachel Weisz 22nd, Kate Winslet 23rd.

We all know (and appreciate) the Ugg Boots. The story of the brand is simple: it all began in 1978 with Brian Smith, a young surfer from Australia. He took a trip to the United States with a bag full of sheepskin boots. There he found a new home with the California surfers and since then, the UGG Australia brand started its journey.

Now we’ve got stars recognition too: The Art & Sole initiative from Ugg Australia gathered stars who want to help. They all painted a pair of Ugg Boots to be auctioned off. The auction will run from December 1, 2007 to December 14, 2007, with proceeds going to UGG Australia in order to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® .
