Continuing the series of men ads, let’s check out the latest in the Junior Fashion League! Little Romeo Beckham, at the crisp age of 10 is joining a long list of enviable Burberry spokespersons. (can I call Romeo a ‘person’? He’s just a child in my eyes. Witty and funny – so it seems, with a famous pedigree, but a child nevertheless)
Mario Testino shot the Burberry Spring Summer 2013 ad campaign (directed by Christopher Bailey himself) with lil’ Beckham here but I keep replaying it without making too much sense. At least fashion wise. Sure, he seems joyful and playful, but what’s he doing there next to those two models who look like statues, is beyond me. Should they symbolize his parents? After all, Victoria Beckham is so serious and pouty all the time!(more images in the gallery, here)

I love them as a family. They always look to me like a loving family. Great kids, well behaved and all. But I am sort disappointed they seem to be trained’ for the Beckham brand.
Such a pity…nothing in is what it looks like…Cute kid though. What can I say? Silly advertisement with the joyful Romeo and this cardboard models!
i want her bag:(
This happening is not a surprise.
Ellington, you’re right. This was to be expected. Celebrity is the new royalty. They have successors. Until the next hype….:)
