My dahlings! Unless you’ve been living under a rock these past years, you have some idea about the madness stirred by Apple in the technology world. It all started with the Mac. But, taking things to the present times, it all started with the iPhone. World’s first smartphone going against the ever – shrinking current sweeping the mobile phones industry.
Today, my dahlings, the Sixth iPhone was officially presented to the world: iPhone5. In short: world’s “thinnest smartphone” weighting 112g (18% thinner than its predecessor) with a 326ppi Retina display, 4inch screen (1136 x 640) (more details after the jump)!
Black or white, the new iPhone5 comes with a A6 Processor (twice as fast, twice as powerful and less energy consuming), with a battery life estimated around 8h on 3G or 10h on WiFi), same 8mpx camera as its predecessor only 25% thinner (1080p video with face detection while the front camera was updated at 720px and backside illumination).
Two of the most notable changes: the “Lightning” doc connector, 80% smaller than its predecessor and the new EarPods (the newly designed earbuds). Prices? $199 for the 16GB and $299 for 32Gb, available starting this very Friday! Drooling yet? (if you want more details, you can always check out the very specific guys from Engadget)

I think I will pass my tour this time.
I like my IPone 4, I don’t see more interest to change it. actually I don’t really see big big difference,
4 is already perfect.
Is this the race of who do what better?
or the fact that people want always something new?
I don’t like this idea of a new product every year, is too much for me.
I know what you mean, I felt exactly the same before seeing this new one ;) .
Except I sometimes find my processor too slow, I’d love to have something more responsive, something that thinks faster. Then.. that screen? It’s amazing! Spring water isn’t that clear!
The new one is bigger and slicker than the 4. So that’s a plus, definitely.
Did you girls buy a new iPhone every year then? Why?
To become a full member of the ‘civilized world’ I’m going to buy an iPhone and a iPad at last. ;)
Someone advised me some months ago to wait for this one and then buy the nr4 which is as good. as I am told and I read here also Diyana is a satisfied user as are many other people. So I listened to his advice since he’s a very devote Apple adept.
You do know how and where they produce these great Apple products don´t you? Good!
Ah, yes! a very good idea! I read they’re making really good offers for the 4S now that 5 is out!
(daydreaming) I still have the iPad on my Christmas list. Santa thinks I should wait some more… (after all, I’ll be using it in the kitchen so much, Santa thinks I’m really clumsy in the kitchen and iPads don’t love melted butter so much ;) )
Can’t wait for you to join the smartphones club! :*
haha… my Ipad is fixed on the fridge!
It makes a whole new life Kpriss, believe me.
Oh, I DO! it’s just… Santa ;)
(how did you fixed it on the fridge? I was thinking about making a special place for it, in one of the kitchen cabinet’s door – you know, carve in and all)
Ah, Kpriss I remember that kitchen/iPad article!!
Fixed on the fridge? With magnets or something? I also love to hear how that works and how it’s fixed?
No girls,no magnets. It seems they shut off the ipad screen and eventually puts the ipad to sleep when they are near the sensor. At least it is what hubby told me…
There is a “frame” (holder?) from BELKIN. (through Amazon)
“Assembled in China designed in Calfornia” lol
Ahh, that’s nifty! ;)
ana, after I posting the magnet’s question I did realise that could never be possible of course!!
What’s not assembled in China and designed wherever? Hard to avoid. But it didn’t work out that great for everyone involved right? Something the Apple Sect doesn’t like much to discuss.
Sorry, people I am very ironic and perhaps even cynical at the moment…..
