How many times you found your glamorous high heels stuck in some grate somewhere and took at least five minutes (feeling like an eternity) to get away from the evil spot? I remember a moment like that!
My gorgeous white high heels bridal sandals stuck in a grate just when pictures were taken to immortalize the special occasion. Of course I wasn’t looking where I put my feet (it was really hard with an overwhelming crinoline dress), the bride is supposed to be floating with happiness and consequently so was I! The cruel reality was that the happy bride from cloud number nine was stuck in that grid and couldn’t even get away by myself. Oh well… it’s all gone now, I have just the pictures to remember the long stuck minutes. I imagine that having these sole mates on your heels can keep you out of unwanted grates, headache free. Would you wear something like this?

It’s a good idea, but clumsy execution. I’d never wear these.
Yes I agree with Sal. They would be nicer if they blended with the shoe rather than looking like the were plunked on like a wad of gum.
@ Ellington, my shoemaker can make almost invisible high heel protectors. Which I need living in a historic city where the streets needs to renovate…
I think they are a great idea, and I would wear them simply to protect my beautiful heels. I would wear the clear ones.
Hm.. So you actually worn this kind of protectors, Adriana?
Sal and Ellington – maybe one day they’ll make protectors for every shoe (high heeled stilettos) and sell them together. I’d try to obtain this if I was the manufacturer of this kind of products..
Anna – the clear ones may go unnoticed once, twice tops! Then that clear plastic becomes blurry due to multiple scratches so you’d need another pair of clear protectors for every occasion.
My name is gail alexander and I like to get in contact with Sole Mate.
The idea is good but I have something better patent pending.
Please have some from the Sole Mate company get back to me on the above email address ASAP
or I can be reached at (914)631-3328.
Thank you!
Gail, I wish you all the luck in the world, you can contact Sole Mates on their website directly, I’m sure you’ll get your answer!
Hmmm, the are kinda interesting but seems like a copycat of what I have used and seems like a better product, Smartheel, which not only protects the bottom but the whole heel.
