After browsing for long long hours the interwebs, looking for various looks and precious clothing pieces to make my own or panel for a monthly inspiration board, I decided to bring a day’s outfit. To discuss or simply to dream at, La piece du jour (the item of the day, only in fashionable French – wink to spice it up a bit) will be the eyes – wash item of the day, the look of the day, the outfit of the day, whatever you want to call it. It will be there. Day after day. I think.
The “Piece du jour” format is a simple one, based on imagery more than anything. However, few words as in why I loved it and why I’d want to wear it and where it’s from (who made it) are in order. My daaahlings, here’s the first Piece du Jour! (yes, I’m revamping the Outfit of the day concept – wink) The last look from Iceberg, Spring Summer 2012. As catwalked down by Aymeline Valade, the shiny pants suit is one of my dream outfits for an elegant evening / cocktail / party. How do you like it?
