I simply love anything Tim Walker ends up photographing. His epic images and whimsical settings set my mood on dreamy each and every time.

The following is a pictorial he shot for W Magazine June 2011 with Scarlett Johansson. And, unlike many of Scarlett’s photos, I love these ones! Her acting skills, which don’t necessarily come across as brilliant in a photo print, were obviously enhanced by the exquisite makeup artist who worked with her for the Tim Walker shoot. This is, by far, the best Scarlett Johansson I’ve ever seen! (maybe because she just doesn’t look like herself?)

Anyway, in other Scarlett Johansson news – she has rumoredly collaborated with Massive Attack for a track called Summertime, included on the original soundtrack of the movie Days of Grace. I’m puzzled. I used to love Massive. How did they come to collaborate with Scarlett? (via 1, 2)
