If you’re one of those who, like myself, have dreamed about those unspeakable spikey beauties made for Rodarte by the Maitre Christian Louboutin for the Fall Winter 2008 / 2009 collection, then you’ll find the following truly amazing!
If you’re one of those crafty, gifted do-it-yourself-ers (and I admire you for your patience, your gift and the incredible amounts of time you invest in your DIY activities), you were already thinking about this for quite a while now. Nevertheless, there it goes, step by step: from a regular black shoe (quite similar to the basic shape of the Rodarte Louboutin) to the spiked, studded (and beyond) perfectly lookalike the Fall 08 Rodarte platforms by Christian Louboutin! I don’t desire shoes like that but this article makes me smile bright.
Get on the job ladies, put some nice music on, be patient and just do it and feel happy and proud with the result. :)
I am not a fan of the shoe either but give it a bash Kpriss! Oh and don’t forget the red paint for the bottom of the shoe! : )
I don’t have the freedom (of space) to do it! I wish I could! (and nor do I have the crafty hands to make it right) – imagine I get my spikes all lined and an invasion leaded by the big, red, shiny Iron Man himself claims my newly found DIY heaven! (as for the red soles – I’d rather have the YSL blues ;) )
LOLs because of the “shiny red Iron Man” invasion! :D
OMG…who would ever wear these shoes :) Or I guess they could be use for self defense :))
A dedicated follower of fashion? Self defense? Nah, you’ve tumbled on the floor before you can kick ’em…..
Thanks so much for featuring the shoes I made!
BTW, in the migration to WordPress a lot of my old links were screwed up (so the link above isn’t working). If you’re looking for my original tutorial, it’s now here.
Thanks again!
