Being irreconcilably torn between art and viral fun, today I’m going to introduce you to a special Nike Sneakers collection. A truly technological one!
Made by Gabriel Dishaw, the junk art sneakers are a series of junk art sculptures celebrating the artist’s love for sneakers. Nike sneakers. The Junk Dunk, the Nike High Terminator, the Blazer Pentium 1.0 are made from found objects from typewriters, adding machines, old computers carefully disassembled and artfully reassembled into a new shape. Clearly not a wearable idea, but surely an artsy, amazingly crafty one! What say you? (artworlds apart from the bread slippers everyone was fond of, eh?) (via)

I’m a mega geek-in-disguise (which means I’m a techie that is also a fashionista) And these are perfection.
