Hedi Slimane, designer for Dior Homme, delivered a surprising portrait of Courtney Love. All in black and white, “Courtney Love by Hedi Slimane” is set to reveal a new face of the performer in Courney, a fashionable clean face.
Dior’s Hedi captured Love in an exclusive limited edition photo-journal available at Visionaire for $80.00. The pictures look cold but interrogative, descriptive and peaceful. The work of art of two influential figures or our times.
Looking like that, I could almost forgive her for being so vicious (in actual terms) and coming from a time when suicidal was glamorous. What do you think? Are these pictures meaningful or do they give away the same “Hole” Courtney Love?

Babe!
Let me be the first to say that Courtney looks fantastic! Great photos, great poses!
[…] Since when are we to refer to a marketing product and call it the new definition of modern elegance? (need I remind you that this brand new “JTâ€? all suited up and looking smart wears the heavy signature of Hedi Slimane?) […]
[…] Not very sparkling, not too haute couture, not even off-drugs-looking, the photos wear undoubtedly Hedi’s signature. […]
[…] If he continues like that, Hedi Slimane’s trademarks will remain blonde, slim, smoking women. Until that moment when we’ll be overdosing with Mr. Slimane’s obsessions, we sit back and enjoy another beautiful photoshoot by Hedi. […]
