March is already here ladies and St Patty’s just around the corner with his pot of gold! How about we get some green inspiration? Some easy, subtle ways to wear the fresh Spring Green?
Starting with the eyes, there are so many shades of green you can wear, and they all seem to magically flatter all colors of eyes and all skin complexions! From emerald green to gold-green, from simple to intricate, carnival-ready green makeup, here’s a handful of 10 simple beauty looks you can try this spring:
1.Subtle green-gold makeup
Something you can wear to work but can also be easily translated to a night-look if you accentuate the eyeliner and add two more layers of mascara (or false eyelashes) to the original subtle do.
2.Subtle green smoky eye makeup
This should be particularly flattering for the hazel eyed ladies out there as this particular green compliments the brown and makes it pop in a very lovely manner. You can wear it to work but also for a night out if you work a bit more on the lashes (again by overlaying mascara or adding false eyelashes).

3.Fresh green outline eye makeup
Although it would appear bold and too daring, this makeup is actually really simple and most complimenting for blue/grey eyes. It can be the perfect day-to-night makeup as long as you don’t accentuate anything else during the office hours and pump up the lashes volume once you’re out of the office.
4.Gold to green gradient eye makeup
Isn’t this the perfect way to not only wear a very natural and subtle eye makeup but also to celebrate gold and the green symbols of St Patty’s day? I would say so! Starting off with gold from the inner eyelid and going green towards the outer corner flatters and enhances the natural eye shape and color. Lovely day-to-night makeup!
5.Green inside-out eye makeup
What a wonderful way to brighten up the look and make your eyes appear wider and brighter! Don’t let yourself fooled by the blue eyes, like I said, green works for all eyes colors! Although a tasteful look, it’s hardly subtle so be careful about where you’re planning to wear these beautiful green eyes!
6.Emerald eyes makeup
Now this is a gorgeous example of perfectly balanced makeup that can really change the shape of an eye! Perfect for smaller eyes, it makes them pop and really defines and accentuates the natural shape of the eye. Also not a very subtle makeup, so be careful where you plan to wear it and how!
7.Tinkerbell green eyes
It’s the first thing that popped in my mind when I saw this design! Tinkerbell! A whimsical makeup with a perfectly executed ombre around the eye! This is definitely the type of makeup I would wear! (should I were to impersonate Tinkerbell)

8.Aqua green eyes makeup
A fantastic makeup I could only describe as surreal and I would most definitely see worn on a night out. It makes the eyes shine due to the aqua liner applied on the inner side of the eyes. Also the heavy smoky outline effect on the outside corner of the eyes makes this a suitable look for fancy occasions, out-of-the-office kind of events.
9.Full green smoky eyes makeup
If you really want to celebrate St Patrick in style, this is the perfect makeup to wear! All green, all the way! In a subtle ombre towards the outer eyelid, this smoky effect needs a very natural looking lipstick to match and a really subtle pink on the cheeks.
10.Gold green smoky eyes makeup
This is more of a golden makeup with very subtle green hues. It’s clearly an evening makeup, perfect for brown and green eyes! I love the smoky effect and the shiny gold as well!
Wrapping this up, I thought it would be nice to see some very artistic makeup examples in green, a handful of celebrities and models who wore green makeup and looked fabulous while doing so and a couple of handy tutorials from two of my favorite makeup vloggers out there! I hope you enjoyed and found these examples useful! Happy Spring!
