Aren’t you curious to see what a former Angel is doing? How is life outside Victoria’s Secret box? Join me, as my Inbox, although crammed up with pumpkin goodies and Halloween costumes ideas (not to mention fall polish new launches) is stocking on winter fashion ideas. So here I am, malgre moi, admiring the new fall winter 2013 lookbook beautifully modeled by Miranda Kerr for Mango.
Mango seems to be onto something, doesn’t it? In the past couple of years, they followed a steady path neighboring fashion bloggers and street fashion, celebrity and wearability that’s getting them somewhere. Into fashion wardrobe worldwide. Mango has become a sort of you-don’t-want-to-miss style destination I’m checking up every season.
Arranging for Miranda Kerr to be photographed by Inez and Vinoodh is also another trick that charmed me into reviewing their new catalog. Ready to see what my top 5 For Fall is?
{1} The Long Cardi : going from summer’s heat straight into fall’s drizzle isn’t easy task for sensitive fashion souls such as ourselves. A long, cozy cardigan will always be your friend. It’ll keep you warm and cozy, it’ll keep you safe from the wind and the rain. Somewhat. Wear it with pants, jeans, a summer mini, midi or maxi dress, the long cardi is a must-own. This fall, winter or any upcoming cold season!
{2} The Cable Knit Sweater: what speaks cozy during winter months better than knitwear? Cable knit sweaters are my favorite kind of sweaters. Something about the textured wool makes it so subtle and so beautiful I would never give up wearing cable knits! And the shorter ones, like the one pictured here, are oh-so-fashionable! With a shirt or a skirt coming out of it, with pants or dresses, you’ll need the versatility of a waist-long cable knit sweater!
{3} The Black Pantsuit: you must own one. There’s just no other way to put it. It’s elegant, it’s timeless, it goes wonderfully for a multitude of occasions, situations and needs.
{4} The Little Black Dress: just like the pantsuit above, the little black dress must be in your wardrobe. More so since this one has sequins arranged in a subtle leopard pattern! Let’s not forget that the winter season is the ultimate party season so you’ll be needing a dress to fit all those fancy dressing occasions in your schedule!
{5} The Mini Edgy Dress: call it a second little black dress if you will, with all the parties, you’ll never have enough of them anyway, so why stop at just one? This one is so rock’n roll, so Versace that you won’t resist wearing it. Soften it up with a cardi or a wool jacket or go for full effect with a leather jacket, this one is a daring key piece in your wardrobe!

Nice collection. Although the photo in the black pantsuit is gorgeous it gives me terrible vertigo…ewww…..
How about you? I have already enough of stars and hearts on garments.
I was thinking that models should have some pretty heavy insurance policies for accepting such shooting settings…
Oh, stars and such… the new polka dots :) I’ll survive lolz at least it’s not some silly motif or distasteful print. I started to accept certain fashion doings just because there’s always room for worse.
