So that it: we have the first official photos of Duchess Catherine’s Royal baby bump! Kate Middleton made her first pregnant appearance at London’s Hope House after weeks of scandal surrounding even more paparazzi photos taken of her and her baby bump while on vacation. Kate seems to be a continuous magnet for ‘unofficial’ reports. Sadly.
But I will only concentrate on the positive this time, talking about Kate Middleton’s baby bump (of course!) and the wrap dress she was wearing for the occasion, a MaxMara Studio dress.
This marks the second time this year Kate Middleton makes an official duty appearance: being the patron of London’s Hope House where women recover from addiction, she spent an hour talking to the people who either work there or recover from various addictions there. But more than her topics of concern, her dress raised a lot of questions and interest! Pregnant Kate Middleton chose a $195 MaxMara gray wrap dress to honor her official engagement.
But the dress is already sold out and there’s no word on it being re-issued (yet). As in previous occasions, I’m sure it will be reinterpreted for retail purposes at even more affordable prices. What do you think about pregnant Kate and her penchant for wrap dresses (she wore a wrap dress in her official engagement portrait as well)? Could she have made a wiser choice as the wind continually lifted the panel of her dress?
And how do you think she should address the constant critics about her lack of real personality and emotion more recently about Vivienne Westwood style advice for Kate to keep wearing the same clothes over and over again?
