One of my favorite brands, Oliver Peoples just released their 25th anniversary Spring Summer 2013 ad campaign, Stage 9. And, as always, the video commercial is a visual feast. Not just because I get to see some of the new sunglasses models they’re proposing for the next season, but also because they always manage to find amazing people to play in their marketing initiatives.
This time it’s Ray Liotta and Bar Paly. Though we haven’t seen him in a while, Ray’s imdb profile looks pretty busy for 2013 (5 projects coming up and 4 others just wrapped up this year). As for Bar Paly – although an actress herself – didn’t look familiar at all (she starred in an episode of HIMYM and a few other less significant titles like The Ruins, Stiletto). It’s a story of Hollywood seduction, clearly, taking place the Sony Studios, all directed by Patrick Hoelck and styled by Johnny Wujek (who’s also responsible for Katy Perry’s Part of Me documentary wardrobe. At least for some of it; he also styled & judged in ANTM College edition). But then again, it’s always a story of love and seduction with Oliver Peoples, why skip a beat for their Spring Summer 2013 ad campaign? (courtesy OP)
