Everybody has to have a hobby, right? So while I’m all about making headbands for my precious girl, some just go for the moon. And they pretty much get away with it too!
By now, we all heard about Brad Pitt’s foray into furniture design. His Pitt Pollaro brand will be launched officially on November 11th. That’s in days from now, so might as well keep an eye out on their website, here. What you’ll find there? If we’re to believe Architectural Digest: $45,000 chairs and more. Yes. You’re reading it right: you can pay for a Pitt chair the same amount of money a decent SUV will cost you!
So my question would be: if you could (clearly, it’s not on everyone’s alley to buy side tables with 24k gold finishes as designed by Pitt), would you buy furniture designed by an actor, or would you rather buy established furniture makers names? (I’d go for the latter, unless he proves that his furniture pieces are made of Kryptonite or some other precious-nite!)

Here’s Earth to Brad Pitt…..hello? Hello? Hellooooooo?
And a SUV isn’t decent Kpriss ;)
Someone will buy his designs.
I would not but I do not see anything wrong with him exploring his creativeness in a tactile way. : )
I see neither anything wrong in being creative. I applaud it!
It’s the price that made me cringe. If this would be a good, comfortable design with an affordable price (and no label insight!) I would have said “why not?”.
