Patricia Field who is most famous for being the “Sex and the City” stylist seems to be quite the fashion revolutionary. Recently, at the screening of Bob Fosse’s Sweet Charity at the W Downtown, Isaac Mizrahi discussed with Derek Blasberg during the presentation of the film and they were constantly interrupted by Patricia Field’s loud remarks as reported by the gossip columns. As it would appear, Patricia Field, although a brilliant movie stylist, doesn’t care much about other people’s movies. {NYPostPageSix}

How rude! All three of them. People should sh*t up during the screening of a film!! That’s why I have become cinema hater while I love film so much…..I have to go and see Prometheus and Snow White next week…..I must….
We too feel much disturbed by those who need to shout and make remarks during the movie’s runtime. It’s so rude, like you say! Whenever possible, we go watch movies at early hours, when there’s hardly anyone else in the theater. At least we minimize the risk ;)
I try to avoid movie crowds always. and I avoid the first week run of popular films, for I cannot abide the rude, and the crowds.
I just adore matinees for then the theatre is mostly empty. : )
Alas for me both movies are not in the matinees. I am also old enough to remember people were quiet when the lights got out and am spoiled with years of being able to go to press previews. Nice and early at 10.30am and then lunch and then another film. It happened that the film I expected of a lot of was a disappointment and the other one was the pearl. Usually the low budget or foreign films. Luckily there’s also still the art-house film cinema. They bring the great classics.
I saw of late to The Untouchables. Kpriss it’s a recommendation for you and Adored Husband. Definitely.
People have become so used to borrow and the last decade the downloading of movies they probably think they sit on their own couch. Commenting all the time. Most worse are people who repeat everything they see!! It’s nice to watch a movie at home with the great tv sets these day but nothing, nothing beat the big screen…..sighs……
Rudeness is everywhere. It’s also a crime at concerts no matter what band or artist. Brrrr….
ah, The Untouchables! “Le sigh”! Amazing movie indeed! we loved it! ;) can’t believe we beat you to it! First time! (that means you have to recommend us even more movies so we keep busy all the time! ;) )
We had the most amazing experience when we went to see The Artist (it was fairly early in the day, but not enough to prepare us for this: ) we were alone in the theater! And it was a great movie to watch in two!
I loved the Untouchables and saw it when it first came out!
The Armani designed wardrobe were great!
Ahh, that’s great to hear my ladies! That means we can go together to a film matinee as well!! :)) <3
