As I told you before, we went to see Snow White and the Huntsman. It was pretty, considering… (I won’t get into the details, unless you want to – I’m all yours in the comments section!)
I was, biensur, blown away by Charlize Theron’s representation. She makes a very credible Ravenna, the Evil Queen. And they even make her malfeasance understandable in some ways. I wonder if Angelina Jolie, who already begun shooting as Sleeping Beauty’s sorceress Maleficent will make an equally credible character. Have you seen Charlize’s performance as Kristen Stewart’s stepmom in Snow White and the Huntsman (and her amazing costumes)?

i have not seen SnowWhite and the Huntsman as yet but I will as I LOVE Charlize and think she is a stellar actor. : )
As for Angelina playing Maleficent, I think she will do an amazing job of it! Maleficent is my favourite Disney villain, when I was little and saw her turn into that dragon to battle Prince Phillip I was enthralled and terrified!

I watched Snow White last week , only to have my impression on Kristen Stewart confirmed: plain,bland, insipid, unidimensional.
Charlize was magnificent.

She has just lucked out due to getting the lead in those reprehensible Twilight films.

Ellington, did you see her pictures in the Vanity Fair ?? The same expressionless face in ALL shots. Depressing. She forgot she is not a vampire anymore…
But she looks good in that other shots at W.
Her acting in Snow White was just…mmmhh… NO! dont even!please,stop!
I care not a jot for her fashion magazine photos. She has them because she is now the flavour (the bland flavour) of the moment.
Now she has the last (thankfully) installment of the Twilight films, which will be her finally cash cow.
People are watching the Snow White and the Huntsmen film because of Charlize and that Chris guy who played Thor.
I see what u mean.. I expected more in photo shots,coming from an actor.
I think she has very beautiful facial features but there is a kind of vulgarity on it at same time and that turns me off completely.
Curiously I liked her when she did the Juddie Foster daughter´s in the panic room movie or something similar…wasnt she there?? i am too lazy to google it now.
Yes she did play Jodie Foster’s daughter in the Panic Room, but the onus was not on her in that film but on Jodie Foster and Forest Whitaker. I do like that film. : )
My guess is that there are Twilight fans who think different and love to see Kirsten. Although I assume the real stars are Charlize and Chris. Haven’t seen the film yet.
As for Angelina Jolie; same thing as Kirsten Stewart she always put off the same faces and to me this part is typical Angelina type casting.
I liked Kirsten in the Panic Room. I re-watched not that long ago. Not bad for done for a girl the age she was at the time.
